General Notes
Adopt a Green.
There has been a huge response to the adopt a green initiative. The Greens Committee are  allocating greens to those 60+ volunteers and they will be notified later this week as to what green they have been assigned.

Bunkers
It is bitterly disappointing to see that some members continue to renege on their responsibility of raking and smoothing the bunkers after they have played their ball.
It is grossly unfair to expect other players to have to play their bunker shots from your footprints or club burrow.
Rakes are provided for a reason. Use them.
Please do not be afraid to remind your playing partners if you observe them neglecting this important duty.

Catering.
As in previous years, there will be no catering (food) available in the Clubhouse from next Monday, 04 October. This will be the situation for the next few months.
Barry will have his full service, including his week-end take away menu, available from Tuesday to Sunday.
