Karl Morris Mind Factor
The list for the Karl Morris Mind Factor night on Tuesday March 23rd at 6.30pm is now closed. Karl will email a link to all participants later this week.
Karl will cover the following.
He will share with you one very specific exercise you can do during lockdown which could transform your golf in 2021.
• A straightforward indoor exercise that can make a big difference once you get back on the course.
• How and why mental resilience is important NOW and when you return to playing.
• Building golf skills not just golf swings
• How to ‘train’ for golf not just mindless practice
• How to change your ‘story’ and how your current story is holding you back
• How one single question could transform your game
• The secret to becoming a great putter
• How allocating one hour a week to practice will dramatically improve your game

Reminder the Aon Personal Insurance is due for renewal on 1st April, over 200 members have signed up for the scheme to date and it gives good protection for members for injury incurred on the course and also for lost clubs or equipment. The cost of the scheme is €27 and is well worth considering.
The solid tining and aeration of the fairways commenced this week. The greens have already been hollow cored and replenished with sand.
Work has commenced on the preparation of the ground for the recently agreed Bio diversity programme. Once this is completed sowing of the wild flowers will commence by the end of March/first week of April. The colourful Bluebells and Anemones sown last year are starting to bloom and giving some lovely colour in the spots where they were sown.

Couple of musings to ponder over St Patricks Day.
“You can’t live life for other people, you’ve got to do whats right for you even if it hurts some people you love”
“Golf is like a love affair, if you don’t take it seriously it’s no fun, if you do take it seriously it breaks your heart.”
Happy St Patricks day to all.
