All members are welcome.

Club Foursomes Qualifiers
The Club Foursomes qualifiers took place at the weekend and despite the good conditions, scoring proved difficult enough. The leading qualifiers were Brendan Power & Leo Hennessy, who, with a PH of 12, shot a winning score of 68. Playing to their handicap on the front nine Brendan and Leo had six pars to record a three over, 38 back nine, just enough to pip Cormac Hickey & Tom Hickey, who were the best of the 69’s, by a single shot.
32 pairings qualified for the matchplay, with those scores of 75 or better included in the draw.
The draw for the matchplay stage has been made and is on the notice board along with the strict guidelines for the competition.

Club Singles Qualifier
This week-end the qualifying round for the Club singles will take place.
The stroke play competition will see the top 63 members go into the hat for the matchplay draw. They will be joined there by last year’s winner, Ollie Carter.
Participants playing handicap (95% of course h’cap) will be automatically adjusted on registration in the Pro shop. Those members registering via their phone should make the necessary adjustment and record the same on their card.

Wild Flower Areas
Members are reminded that, as the meadows are now growing very strong, the wilds flower areas on the course are strictly ‘no go’ areas and you may NOT enter the meadow to retrieve your ball.
Having agreed the entry point with your playing partners, you should identify the nearest point of relief, not nearer the hole, mark with a tee and drop a new ball within one club length, without penalty.
Some of the seeds harvested from last year, have been used to help create new areas of colour around the course. The remainder of the seed will be used to cultivate the poor growth areas of last years crop.

Divot Bags return.
Members are requested to search their shed, car boots and any other areas where they may have inadvertently stored divot bags.
If you find any please return to the stand at the cleaning bay near the 18th.
