General Notes
Covid 19 – a note from our Club Captains.
Taking the current worsening Covid situation into account, the Management Committee have recommended the cancellation of all Club end of year indoor events with large numbers. Included in this is the Joint Captains dinner, scheduled for 04 December and our Annual Memorial Service on 02 December among other events.
We realise that this may come as a disappointment to members, but we feel under the current circumstances, that we would be taking too much of a risk in running such events. We do intend to hold the Ladies Club AGM and the Men’s Club AGM in the clubhouse this year as relatively small numbers usually attend. We will monitor the situation and will update all members if we have to change our plans.
At the start of the year our express wish was that the Club would protect the health and safety of every club and staff member and that has been our primary goal throughout 2021.
Thank you again to everyone for observing all of the rules and protocols around the Club, which has ensured that to date everyone has remained safe.
Hopefully 2022 will see an improved set of circumstances and we will be able to fulfil all of our fixtures and events.
Club Captains, Paul Colfer and Ber Crowdle.
