Challenge Cup
In the Area semi-final of the Challenge Cup, Kilkenny faced a very strong Waterford side. Undaunted, the Kilkenny ladies rose to the challenge and fought every inch of the way but eventually lost 3&2
Mags Duggan secured an away point, winning on the 17th and Millie Molloy lost 17th.
At home Abbie O’Donoghue won her match on 13th and with Mary Corcoran and Stephanie Downes fighting all the way only for both to lose on the 18th hole.
This was a great team performance to get to Semi-finals particularly with three of team playing matches for club for first time.
Managers:- Phyla Doyle & Edith Ogilvie
