Ladies Club Notes
Lady Captain Ber Crowdle and the Ladies Committee extend their congratulations and best wishes to Barbara Teehan and Carmel O’Shea on their election to the Joint Management Committee for 2021.
Women in Golf Charter:
Golf Ireland have launched an initiative called, Women in Golf Charter, which they have asked all clubs to sign up to and commit to.
The aim is to increase the number of women and girls playing and working in golf.
It is also focused on encouraging more families to enjoy golf as a leisure activity and encourage more opportunities for women to work in the golf industry.
Kilkenny Golf Cub fully supports the initiative and we will keep members actively informed on our progress.
ILGU Extraordinary General Meeting was held by Zoom on Thursday, 28 January, 2021.
