General Notes
Covid 19
Following consultation with the Officers of Kilkenny Golf Club, yesterday morning, it has been decided that the Clubhouse Bar & Catering facilities will close and remain closed until Sunday, 29 March at least.
St. Patrick’s Day Singles Competition has been cancelled and all reservations have been cleared.
All further competitive golf up to this Friday (20th) and includes Wednesday’s Ladies competition, Thursday’s Ladies & Gent’s Senior outings are cancelled.
A decision on the week-end’s Club Fourball qualifier will be taken and notified to the members by Friday 20th March.
Casual golf is permitted during this closure of competitive golf and must be booked on the BRS with intervals of  20 minutes between lines. Casual Golf booking for Tuesday to Friday this week will go live for online booking each evening at 5.30pm for the following day.
Only members who have booked a line on this sheet should turn up for golf and we encourage members not to congregate around the clubhouse before and after their golf.
The Ladies and Gent’s locker rooms and toilet facilities will remain open.
With more cases reported in Kilkenny in recent days the above actions are being taken in the best interest of the members and their families.

All Inter club matches have been cancelled until Sunday, 29 March at earliest.
Mixed Match set for Sunday, 22 March, Kilkenny v Enniscorthy is postponed as a result.

Other Cancellations/Postponements
• Monday night Bridge session suspended for next two weeks.
• All Yoga sessions also suspended for next two weeks.
• Tom Brett slideshow scheduled for March 27th has been deferred.
• The Senior Mens & Ladies  competitions on Thursday, 19 and 26 March have been cancelled.

Seniors Please Note
Due to COVID-19 the KSGS Committee has decided to temporarily suspend our weekly Society outings for the next two weeks. A review of this decision will take place in 10 days’ time and you will be advised accordingly.

Ladies Club Notes
News
Ladies, you may play two competitions together but, only one can be qualifying,
e.g. you can play a Tuesday competition and a club match at the same time.
You cannot play the 18 hole and 9 hole Tuesday competition together.

Round Robin Competition
Due to the inclement weather, the date for the Round Robin matches has been extended to 31 March 2020.
Should there be any changes to the above, we will notify you immediately.
