Christmas Gift Vouchers
Gift Vouchers are available from the office and may be used towards Green Fees or as payments towards Annual Membership.
Jimmy Bolger in the Pro Shop has vouchers available towards lessons or purchases of goods, Barry Joyce Caterer can also supply vouchers for dining in the clubhouse.
Annual General Meetings
The AGM’s of the Gent’s Club will be held on Thursday via Zoom at 19.30hrs and the Ladies Club on Wednesday at 8pm also via Zoom.
Registration for attendance at both AGM’s is now closed.
Mens Agm Thursday 7.30pm.
Voting for the election of Mens Committee members will continue but you are reminded to do so as soon as possible.
In order to have your vote count, you must ‘attend’ the meeting on Thursday evening.
Having registered your interest to attend, you will have received an e-mail with a link to the meeting.
Clicking on this link will allow you access to the meeting and will also register your vote. Please log in from 7.15pm.
Ladies Agm Wednesday 8pm.
There is no vote for Ladies Committee as there were only 6 nominations for 6 places.

Annual Christmas Mixed.

This years Christmas Mixed will take place next Sunday, 20 December.
The format of the competition will be a 13 hole, four person team, Champagne Scramble.
With the current restrictions, it is not possible to have our usual shotgun start.
Every team will start from the first tee.
Entries have now closed.
The draw for teams, once completed will be posted on the BRS by Thursday evening.
Entry fee is €15 which includes a hot plate following your round of golf. There will be an option of a breakfast bap for the early starters.
There is no need to enter the Clubhouse before the competition as entry fees will be taken at the starter’s office beside the first tee.
As we cannot have a prize-giving presentation, we will post the results and prizes will be available for collection from the Clubhouse from Monday onwards.

Protocols for the day.
Plan to arrive at the car park no earlier than 10 mins before your tee time
Go straight to the first tee where entry fees will be taken
Please wear a mask at all times in the Clubhouse except when dining
You will be directed to a table by staff members where you will be served your food and an alcoholic beverage, if you wish to purchase same.
Members are requested not to delay after their meal as other teams will require tables once they complete their round..
Please do not mingle with other members

Please note if you wish to play in Saturdays Crosscard you will need to add your name to the waiting list between 10.00 and 12.50
You cannot enter your name on the competition sheet itself.
The sheet will live for online booking at 4pm on Wednesday evening and the closing time for entry this week is Thursday @ 13.00hrs.
Please note the office do not have access to add you to the waiting list, you need to log in yourself to the competition and add yourself.
Time sheets for casual golf on Tuesday 22nd to Thursday 24th will go live on Friday afternoon at 16.00hrs..
For those wishing to play at the week-end, bookings become available from Wednesday afternoon at 16.00hrs..
World Handicap System
At last, the WHS, Club V1 and How did I do, have managed to sync their operations.
Members may now check any of the above to see what their Handicap Index is.
With the sloping for Kilkenny having adjusted, downwards, golfers may have noticed a change in their Index.

Bar & Catering.
The Bar & Catering facilities continue to be open to members.
Members can avail of tea/coffee after their round of golf but are not permitted to purchase alcohol, unless they are having a meal.
The catering operation will operate on a six day week, with Monday being a closed day.
Barry Joyce will continue with his very popular take away meals.
He will continue with the Saturday and Sunday takeaway and will be available on Saturday from 17.00 to 19.00hrs and from 13.00 to 17.30hrs. on Sunday.
Members, wishing to avail of this service, are requested to phone Barry on 086 820 5260.
Barry will confirm the menu available and confirm a collection time for your order.
There will be no Bar or catering available on Thursday, Friday and Saturday 24th, 25th & Sunday 26th December.
