The practice of players deleting themselves from timesheets on the day of competitions and not informing their playing partners has crept back in.
In some cases players have been left with no markers which is very unfair.
We all accept that sometimes there may be emergencies but we would request that members be courteous to their playing partners and contact them if knocking off their names within 24 hours of their tee time.

Course News
Hole Cups
Players are requested not use the putter head to remove their ball from the hole.
This damages the hole and the hole loses its round shape resulting in unfair conditions for other competitors.
If you see a member doing this please report to the office.
There are attachments for putters to assist players remove the ball from the hole available in the Pro Shop.

Divot Repair Team
The Divot repair sessions for the year finished last night and thanks to all those who turned up during the year especially the regulars who hardly missed a session.
With the sessions now finished it is more important than ever that members bring a divot bag with them. Also please ensure to repair any divots on the par 3 tee boxes, usually on par 3’s you are waiting for the green to clear and it would be great if players utilised this time to repair any divots that have been left unattended.

Members are reminded to bring a bag of sand mix with them when going for their game of golf.
With the prospect of softer conditions, members are reminded, to repair their pitch marks as soon as possible.
