General Notes
Committee Meetings.
The final committee meeting for both this years Ladies and Gent’s Clubs will take place next Monday 16th November, via Zoom @ 19.30hrs..
An e-mail, with the necessary link, will be sent to the respective committees during the week.
Amongst the items on the agenda for both Clubs will be the nominations for the Office of Vice-Captain and President.

It is still uncertain as to how both Club will be able to organise their Annual General Meeting. Various ideas have been discussed but we are awaiting a final decision/advice from the GUI. Ladies Agm is scheduled for Wednesday December 16th and Mens Agm for Thursday December 17th.

World Handicapping System.
Following the corrected errors in yardage, Golf Ireland have finally confirmed the slope for Kilkenny GC at 128 off the whites. Once the system updates, it will recalculate all the indices on the new slope of 128 (previously 131). Once updated, our Handicap Committee will carry out a review to ensure that no player loses or gains an unfair amount of shots.
Once you have registered on you will have access to your Handicap Index and you can then check your playing handicap on the charts, previously issued by Sean, to see what course handicap corresponds to your index. These charts will be available in various locations in the Clubhouse and your course and playing handicap will also be confirmed each time you register for competitions with the Pro Shop.
